AVA Recordings is a UK based electronic music record label founded by Grammy nominated Andy Moor. It is independently operated and owned by Andy and Canadian producer Somna under the iconic Black Hole Recordings umbrella.

For 10 years, AVA Recordings has been committed to curating innovative music and has released chart toppers and underground club pleasers from new talent and established producers alike. The impressive lineup of artists who have joined AVA Recordings include Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Tritonal, Myon & Shane54, Ashley Wallbridge, Omnia, Tenishia, Sean Tyas, Orkidea, Lange, TyDi, Ben Nicky, Max Graham, ReOrder, RAM, Sunny Lax and many more. In 2006, AVA Recordings began as an independent label before joining Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music for distribution as a sub label in 2008. After enjoying many years of success with Armada, AVA returned to its roots as an independent label in 2014 under a new distribution partnership with Black Hole Recordings.

While known by fans and industry bodies for primarily releasing Progressive Trance, AVA has never shied away from the faster BPM with a wealth of remixes from the likes of Indecent Noise, Arctic Moon, Bryan Kearney, Adam Ellis, Allen & Envy and more. In 2017, a new label will be launched to further the brand’s musical diversity; 'AVA White' will be AVA’s platform for the sounds of uplifting and classic trance with A.R.D.I. at the helm. Exciting times are ahead for this sub label with music forthcoming from A.R.D.I., Bjorn Akesson, ReOrder, Cold Rush, Assaf, Manuel Rocca and many more. Both the main and sub label will carry on its tradition of releasing music from well known artists alongside discovering and developing fresh talents through its AVA NuBreed EP series and providing a platform for young artists to grow.

10 years and over one hundred and fifty releases, AVA Recordings has situated itself firmly as a label within the dance music community, consistently providing high calibre releases from exceptional talent around the world.
